The Dutch Graduate School in Logic OZSL (Onderzoeksschool Logica) presents: Accolade{96 A Conference on Logic and its Applications Nijmegen, The Netherlands November 21 or 22, 1996 In connection with the OZSL Schooldays FIRST CALL FOR PAPERS Deadline: October 18, 1996 Accolade is a conference on logic and its applications. It aims at a survey of Dutch research in this area currently done as part of PhD projects, or as an elaboration of recently completed PhD projects. Accolade was organized for the first time in 1994, to offer young researchers the opportunity to present and publish their work in progress. The 94 and 95 conferences achieved sizeable audiences, and fruitful discussions between authors and members of the OZSL staff. Proceedings of these conferences are currently available. As before, at Accolade{96 a celebrated researcher from the field will present an invited talk. Submission Contributions are invited by everyone who works on, or has recently finished, a PhD project in the area of logic, pure as well as applied to mathematics, computer science, linguistics or philosophy. Coference language will be English. After the conference, full papers will be refereed for publication in the proceedings. Abstracts (LaTeX, up to 1 page), containing name, affiliation and address, should be sent to accolade@let.ruu.nl before October 18, 1996. Authors will receive notification of acceptance before November 1, 1996.
