XXXII LATIN-AMERICAN CONFERENCE ON INFORMATICS (CLEI 2006) August 20-25, 2006, Santiago, Chile DEADLINE: April 3rd, 2006 CLEI 2006 will take place at Santiago city in Chile and will be organized by the Chilean Society for Computer Science (www.sccc.cl). The CLEI is the oldest conference in the Latin-American region and also the largest one in terms of participating people and number of papers. As such, it provides an excellent forum for presenting and discussing recent results of on-going research and meeting people related to all areas of computer science in Latinamerica Authors are invited to submit papers before April 3rd, 2006. Papers may be 12 pages long and may be written in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Submissions must be sent in PDF or postscript format by following the instructions given in the Web site http://www.wcc-2006.org/clei2006 The CLEI 2006 Proceedings will be distributed in CDs with ISBN number. Best papers will be invited to be published in the CLEI Electronic Journal (www.clei.cl/cleiej). Notification of acceptation/rejection will be issued by e-mail at May 20th, 2006. Camera-ready is due by June 5th, 2006. The CLEI 2006 will be held as a joint event with the 19th IFIP World Computer Congress of the International Federation for Information Processing.
