Workshop on Data Mining and Business Intelligence (DMBI-2007)

Workshop on Data Mining and Business Intelligence (DMBI) is being
organized with the objective of bringing together researchers,
developers and practitioners from academia and industry working in
related areas of data mining and business intelligence. DMBI focuses
on data mining techniques and Business Intelligence (BI)
applications, such as new customer acquisition, developing
customized product and service offerings, customer relationship
management, GIS based routing algorithms, fraud detection and credit
analysis.

The areas of interest include but are not limited to:

* Data extraction and reporting
* Data cleaning and preprocessing
* OLAP
* Web technology and mining
* Data mining applications as components of business process
* Data mining applications to real world business problems (e.g.
e-commerce,
* finance, manufacturing)
* Forecasting technologies
* Network analysis and real world applications
* Integration of data mining technologies with Business
Intelligence
* technologies
* Visualization tools

Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers of not more
than eight (8) pages including results, figures and references (IEEE
format). Submitted papers will be reviewed by at least two members
of the program committee. The proceedings of the workshop will be
published by IEEE (with ISBN number).

Important Dates

* Paper Submission*: December 4, 2006
* Notification of Acceptance*: January 5, 2007
* Camera-ready Paper Submission Due*: January 15, 2007

*Note: All the deadlines are due midnight according to Pacific
Standard Time (PST).
