                          FoLLI Workshop on
LOGICS FOR LINGUISTICS, PHILOSOPHY, AND COGNITIVE SCIENCE

                    Chiba University, Chiba, Japan

                          First Announcement

Chiba University will host an informal workshop focusing on logic and
its applications to linguistics, philosophy, and cognitive science,
under the auspices of the European Association for Logic, Language and
Information (FoLLI). The workshop will be the first official event of
FoLLI to be held in Japan. Its aim is to help establish a steady flow
of researchers in logic and neighboring disciplines between Europe and
Japan and contribute to advances in the study of logic, language and

Foundation (Kokusai Kouryuu Kikin), an organization under the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
