MEANING-2005 2nd Workshop organized by the MEANING Project February 3-4, 2005, Trento, Italy Web site: http://tcc.itc.it/events/meaning2005/ FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS Following the first Workshop held in Donostia-San Sebastian last year, the MEANING project (Developing Multilingual Web-Scale Language Resources - http://www.lsi.upc.es/~nlp/meaning/meaning.html) is now organizing a second workshop for the 3 and 4 February 2005, to be held at ITC-irst in Trento, Italy. The workshop will provide an excellent opportunity to bring together major experts in the fields of Natural Language Processing to discuss the role of Word Sense Disambiguation, Multilingual Language Resources and large-scale Knowledge Acquisition in view of concrete application perspectives. Paper submission templates for both Latex and Word are available at the workshop website. Submissions should not exceed 6 pages in length and should be sent, pdf file, to Bernardo Magnini (magnini@itc.it) by October 25th. Besides the workshop Proceedings, we also aim at publishing a selection of accepted papers in book form after the workshop.
